  37.      Virus Detective is my favorite for detection of viruses. It is quite effective, and since it installs as a desk accessory (DA), it is easy to call it up to check the occasional incoming disk. Virus Detective is not useful for protection or eradication.

  39.      With proper information, Virus Detective can be updated to handle new viruses as they arrive. The user can update his copy of Virus Detective to detect these without help of the programmer.
